THE TYNE - BORN ON THE INTERNET [DIGITAL]

Newcastle / London three-piece Ryan, Josh and Cooper are The Tyne; a UK online sensation set to release their debut EP in 2022 via Slam Dunk Records.  Now 17, the band formed at 14 over a love of classic pop-punk and indie.  Having inadvertently built a following of over 400,000 followers on TikTok via performances in their parent’s back gardens they completed their debut EP ‘Born on the Internet’ with Gethin Pearson (Kennyhoopla / Charli XCX).

The band have created a blend of contemporary pop-punk with impactful lyrics and unadulterated energy that sits in it’s own place alongside the new-school of rock artists like Waterparks, Lil Huddy, Hot Milk and Yungblud.  Despite their full-blooded take on teenage angst the band doesn’t lose the likability and personality that saw The Tyne thrust into the social media spotlight so early on in their career. 

The Tyne are the latest signings to the newly re-launched Slam Dunk Records; part of the Slam Dunk brand that hosts the UK’s largest and most-loved independent rock festival.
